About Me
I’m a 22 year old college student currently playing around with my second horse – a 4 (4?!? When did she grow up?!?! She was 2 when I started this thing…) year old Haflinger filly (suppose I’ll have to change that to mare soon). I have big hopes for us in the dressage arena, and also plan to drive her. Headlining this act are my old man (aka The Kai-Man), my 27 year old OTTB who crossed the rainbow bridge in October 2007, and my little girl (the new filly). Also starring in a supporting role is Anna-Banana, my mom’s horse (who will hopefully become mine soon!), a 7 year old Haflinger mare. There are also frequent cameo appearances and a long list of non-speaking roles.
And for those of you wondering what is up with the “Iron Bess Flint” thing…it’s my pirate name!
A pirate’s life isn’t easy; it takes a tough person. That’s okay with you, though, since you a tough person. Like the rock flint, you’re hard and sharp. But, also like flint, you’re easily chipped, and sparky. Arr!

Howdy, IronBessFlint!
I sometimes post on the HorsePage as JC, and I too am a driver.
I got the new driving class added at LMHA, and I hope you will stop by and meet me in April! I have some extra stuff planned for this summer at LMHA shows for drivers. We had so much fun last year!
I am easy to find, I always wear lime green. I drive a Percheron/Paint crossmare named Abigail.
Good Luck with your Haffie filly, and welcome to driving!
Cheers,
Judi

Hello! I stumbled into your blog via…?… I don’t actually remember how. ANYHOW, I’m a dressage rider, and I totally totally totally love Halflingers, and envy you for owning one! Until I can afford ANOTHER horse… (teehee, I have too many already), I’ll live vicariously through you!

Hello,
My name is Peter. I work for a horse related site and am currently doing promotions. That being said, I would like the opportunity to place a link on ironbessflint.wordpress.com. I think it would be a nice fit considering the relativity of horses. If this is something you would be interested in, just let me know. Thanks in advance.
All the Best,
-Peter
